Lately I've been dying to try everything vintage! From hair, to cute pinup outfits. Sadly there aren't too many cute vintage fall styles I've been able to find. I'll keep searching & hopefully sometime this week I can try out this cute hair style you see on the left! Wish me luck loves!

Smile For The Camera Baby

I want some better pictures of myself. All the ones I've taken up till now look like they were taken to be profile pictures. It's beginning to worry me that I'm losing my ability to take good photographs. I'm gonna start doing some more photo shoots and posting them on tumblr. This weekend will be the first one hopefully!

Lately I'm kind of feeling like I'm sinking. I took this photo while I was in Florida the summer after my freshman year in high school. I like it because it can be used as a lovely little cliche metaphor. I'm trying to get into a regular routine with this blog posting but for some reason it's a bit difficult to talk about anything very professionally.

Where Has The Time Gone?

Oh my goodness. I have been away for quite a long time. After my short, mildly exciting summer I have returned with a whole new inspiration. After hearing my other blog buddies had been posting recently it made me realize how neglectful I'd been.

I have added a new hobby to my currently large array of them. Photograph and photo editing! I solemnly swear I will try to be more regular with postings. a new photo each week!

Ellie Saab Spring 2010

Ellie Saab really impressed me with his Spring line. The dresses are gorgeous in all the beautiful pastel colors very classic of spring. This dress was by far my favorite of the collection. It's AMAZING! If I were to wear this dress I'd probably not want the cut to be so high up on the leg but if the cut was lowered it'd be a perfect dress for formal-wear or a black-tie event. But with the super high cut on the thigh it's best reserved for the runway although Ellie Saab's collection this year was surprisingly "normal" for a couture show. Still love Ellie, love the collection

I've been inspired lately by Lookbook.nu to maybe start adding some style opinions etc... I know no one reads this blog but hey, who knows?

Lately I've been more into quirkier styles, even though they have been more widely accepted I'm often not confident enough to wear most of the things I'd like to. Such as crazy colors and accessories. I've been focusing more lately on slowly adding one very unique element to my outfit and recently adding an edgier look to my hair.
I noted while I was looking through some runway photos from Christian Dior's new spring collection that John Galliano had focused in on very long and sleek silhouettes with his high waisted skirts, tailored jackets that are a throwback to the coats worn by ladies in the days of the English fox hunt. The makeup, like many runway shows was very dramatic with super white foundations and rich red lips, pale lips and white shimmering shadows, all the makeup perfectly matched to the ensemble. The shoes were to DIE for. All almost replicas of victorian boots. Some outfits were much more modern and angled towards everyday-wear as well.

I'm obsessed with fashion and I guess this is a good thing to incorporate into my personal blog. Thanks!
